October in Newburyport is a picture-perfect celebration of autumn’s arrival. Halloween brings an extra spark of magic—pumpkins glow in windows, ghost tours wander through old wharf buildings, and families gather for parades and trick-or-treating in the charming Federal-style neighborhoods. The Sandwich Fair
October 11-13th

Featuring livestock shows, 4-H exhibits, and animal demonstrations. Competitive and fun events like tractor pulls, keg toss, and horse pulling. Enjoy freestyle motocross shows, parades, jugglers, mentalists, music acts, plus fiber arts demos (“fleece to shawl”) and other local craft and vendor exhibits!
